Delivery Policy

At Sommer’s Seasonal Surprises, every hamper is prepared here in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and personally delivered within our local delivery area.

Free Local Delivery

We offer free hand delivery within a 20 km radius of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.

There is no minimum order value for our standard local delivery service unless otherwise stated on a particular product or promotion.

Because we deliver our hampers ourselves rather than using a courier, we can keep the service personal and make sure your gift arrives safely.

Delivery Area

At present, our normal online delivery service is available only to addresses within approximately 20 km of Roscrea.

If you are unsure whether an address falls within our delivery area, please get in touch with us before ordering and we will be happy to check.

Outside Our 20 km Delivery Area

We currently do not offer standard nationwide shipping.

For larger, corporate or bulk orders, however, we may be able to arrange hand delivery outside our normal 20 km area. Please contact us before placing your order and we can discuss what is possible.

We would love to expand our delivery service in the future. If you live elsewhere in Ireland and would like to order from us, please feel free to get in touch. If there is enough demand, nationwide delivery may be introduced in the future.

Delivery Dates

Where you request delivery for a particular date or occasion, we will always do our best to accommodate it.

Requested delivery dates are not guaranteed until confirmed by us. During particularly busy periods, including Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Easter, we recommend ordering as early as possible.

If for any reason we cannot fulfil your requested date, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Gifts Delivered to Someone Else

You are very welcome to order a hamper as a gift and have it delivered directly to the recipient.

Please make sure that the recipient’s:

  • name;

  • delivery address;

  • Eircode, where available; and

  • contact number

are entered correctly when placing your order.

Where necessary, we may contact you or the recipient to help arrange delivery.

If Nobody Is Available

If nobody is available to accept the delivery, we will use reasonable efforts to contact the purchaser or recipient.

We will deliver it to a neighbour or leave it on the front porch if nobody is available. If it’s in Roscrea, we’ll try to redeliver it when possible.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an incorrect or incomplete address prevents us from completing the delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, although we cannot guarantee delivery at the originally requested time.

Alcohol

Where a hamper contains alcohol, additional age restrictions apply.

Alcohol will only be sold and delivered where permitted by law. The person purchasing an alcohol-containing hamper must be at least 18 years old, and the hamper must not be purchased for unlawful supply to a person under 18.

We reserve the right to request proof of age and to refuse delivery of alcohol where appropriate proof of age cannot be provided.
